Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the https://borderms.com/ website and the services provided by Border, an event company operating in the UAE. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Offered
Border, acting as an event management company and event planners, provides comprehensive services including:
- Event Management & Exhibition Planning
- Photography & Videography
- Decor & Furniture Production
- Promotional & Corporate Gifts
- Printing & Advertising
- Design & Video Editing
- Audio Visual Services
All services are subject to a separate, detailed Service Agreement or Contract, which will supersede these general Terms upon execution.
2. Service Scope and Agreements
- Quotation: All prices and service details provided in initial quotations are valid for a specified period.
- Contracts: Engagement for services (including services provided by our corporate event organisers) requires a formal, signed Service Agreement detailing the scope, deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and termination clauses.
- Intellectual Property (IP): Unless otherwise stipulated in the Service Agreement, Border retains IP rights over concepts, designs, and unedited raw footage/files. Upon final payment, IP related to the final deliverable (e.g., logo, final event video, event design) may be transferred as per the contract.
3. Payment Terms
- Specific payment schedules (including required advance payments, milestones, and final due dates) will be defined in the Service Agreement.
- Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in the suspension of services or forfeiture of deposits.
4. Limitation of Liability
Border shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct by Border. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the UAE. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the UAE.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the Service Agreement subject to the terms outlined in the specific contract. Termination fees may apply depending on the timing of the notice and expenses incurred by Border up to the date of termination.
7. Changes to Terms
Border reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of the Terms and Conditions page.
